Beef filet, all the sauces , French fries and a salad

Suggested wine , a classic Bordeaux, Cabernet Sauvignon

Thai Shrimp in a green curry, ginger, coconut soup , served on white rice.

A very easy recipe perfect for entertaining it can all be made ahead .

A wonderful blend of lemon grass, green curry and ginger in a coconut soup.

Wine suggestion : a crisp sauvignon blanc

$35 per person

SWISS RACLETTE

Raclette cheese, prosciutto, salami, gherkins, cocktail onions, boiled potatoes,and a great night with a roaring fire.

Suggested wine   : Fendant du Valais, a 100% chasselas grape, at Mickey Finn I found a wine from  Savoie around $15 dollars but any white wine you like will be perfectly great

$40 per person (the raclette cheese is $15 a lbs and the Prosciutto pretty pricey too)
